How the sponge-toothbrush works

The sponge-toothbrush cleans all teeth perfectly in few seconds by just biting and grinding in it.
It is the result of designing and manufacturing high-tech toothbrushes for 10+ years. Scientific studies show conventional toothbrushes clean just up to 70%, and only if applied correctly for 2-3 minutes. They do not reach all spaces and most people do not apply the correct techniques and brush only for 30 seconds. That's the reason for many toothaches. Even school-children can have a lot of caries already because they don't clean well - the sponge-toothbrush solves the problem.
The silicone sponge is anti-microbial and perfectly hygienic.
No dirt adheres to it, it is easily washable and fast drying.
The lattice-structure of the sponge contains no cavities and is perfectly airy. Thus no dirt is trapped in it and it dries fast. Silicone is used in many medical applications.
Toothbrush-bristles inside the biting-slits reach the tiniest cavities and scratch the dirt out of them.
Biting and grinding reproduces the brushing techniques recommended for manual toothbrushes, thus perfectly cleaning all places at the same time.
The tapered bristles even perfectly reach into the "Gingival Sulcus" (space between teeth and gums) as well, and in the perfect recommended 45-degree angle.
The silicone-sponge in your mouth
perfectly adapts to your own denture/teeth and the fibers clean as soon as you move in them. The sponge fibers clean all surfaces, and the tapered toothbrush-bristles clean even the tiniest cavities.
The result: simple cleaning perfection
Foto showing the sponge in the mouth, under pressure and teeth bitten in. Both the silicone fibers and the toothbrush-bristles clean teeth, cavities and interdental regions.
The tapered bristles also perfectly reach and clean the important space between teeth and gums ("gingival sulcus"). Conventional toothbrushes only have rounded filament ends for production reasons, which can't reach those spaces well.
Based on our 10+ years experience in high-tech toothbrush design we created the toothbrush-sponge which enables perfectly soft, safe, easy and fast cleaning. And a real-life cleaning efficacy far ahead of any other tool in the market.
How it works: exactly like manual toothbrushes, only extremely much better
The cleaning principle is exactly the same as with manual toothbrushes - the tried and true cleaning method, in use for centuries already. But here with perfect technique applied, perfect pressures and angles, and all teeth at the same time!
"What about electric toothbrushes, are they not much better than the manual ones?" The advantage of electric brushes is only a very theoretical one. In clinical studies financed by the manufacturers themselves, they "prove" a 5% advantage, but only when cleaning off dirt from a table surface in a lab for example. But in real life the cleaning result is determined almost 100% by how your hand is moving the brush. And we have solved this completely with the sponge-toothbrush, by letting your teeth clean themselves perfectly, automatically and handsfree, just by biting and grinding in the brush.

Why and How we developed the Blizzbrush
We have been developing and manufacturing high-tech denture-cleaning tools since 2012. We invented and manufactured the first available U-shape-toothbrush (or "mouthpiece-toothbrush") in the world in 2012/13, which was tailored to individual dentures and teeth based on toothscans and manufactured with 3D-printing. The product went viral with over a million Youtube views within days and we were working non-stop for years on optimizing products, design-software and manufacturing.
Soon we were "copied" by much cheaper standard-sized "U-shape-brushes" which promised to clean well. We thought that they could not, and tests confirmed it. They could not adapt to individual tooth- and denture-shapes well enough, and even just used silicone-stumps instead of real toothbrush-bristles. Clinical studies confirmed that these almost do not clean anything at all.
Nonetheless we were always thinking about concepts for standard-size mouthpiece-toothbrushes that could work well.
And then suddenly we had the crazy sponge idea (while cleaning dishes!). What if we used perfectly clean anti-microbial silicone sponges?? They would replace the 3D-printed carrier of the mouthpiece...and perfectly adapt to individual denture shapes....and even clean the teeth as well...it was still a long journey from version 1 of the "sponge-toothbrush" to version 7, which is a dream come true now, because it works even much better than the best tailored toothbrushes we ever manufactured and which is available as "Blizzbrush" now.
